Dear B4 Family,
As I looked out on a room lit by thousands of candles during our Christmas Eve services, I was reminded of our church’s legacy. For more than 60 years, B4 has been a light, that “city on a hill” Jesus spoke about, and a witness to God’s faithfulness.
As I reflect further on 2025, I thought of the Apostle Paul’s words to the Philippians: “I thank my God every time I remember you.” Your generosity is a clear sign of God’s faithfulness, showing how Jesus continues to provide for the work of His church. So, thank you for your prayers, your stewardship, and your willingness to consistently show up for the work God is doing in and through B4 Church.
We often say, “Everything we give goes to everything we do.” Consider the reach of more than 3,500 hosted ministry events, including 1,830 worship services for all ages. We also saw local kids joining us 14,464 times at gatherings like kids' services, youth events, Soccer Camp, and our other summer camps. Our faithful volunteers said “yes” more than 14,500 times to serving opportunities. We also continued to partner with local schools and organizations to support families in Beaverton and the greater Portland area.
But numbers will never tell the whole story. Our church is really about the people who call it home. In 2025, we saw lives transformed by hope, deep wounds healed, and new freedom found in healthy, restored, and flourishing relationships. The many people who said “yes” to Jesus last year, including the 75 who followed Him into the waters of baptism, are a beautiful testimony to God’s work among us.
Looking ahead, I feel excited for what’s to come. God is already shaping new ministry opportunities for 2026. Since many of you have joined B4 fairly recently, we’re eager to build stronger connections through groups and mentoring. We truly value your partnership in all God is doing at B4.
So, let’s keep being generous with ourselves, our resources, our compassion, and our courage. Let’s keep saying yes when our uniquely creative God invites us to partner with Him. There is so much we can do together as we make a lasting difference for His Kingdom.
Thank you again for being part of our church family. Your faithfulness shows God’s goodness. I pray that 2026 brings you His peace, His joy, and His presence in every part of your life.
With much love,
Bo Stern-Brady
Lead Pastor
